Wading in the creek

Yesterday some friends came to visit and to meet Triton. Together we went to one of our favorite nearby parks for a picnic lunch.  Sadly our friends had to head home before we could take the brief walk down to the creek.  After we said goodbye to them, we ventured down to the water ourselves.

A nice lady offered to take a family photo. We've learned to say yes to such offers (unless it looks like the offerer is going to take off with your phone or something)

If the weather continues to be as beautiful as it has been all summer, we are definitely going to have to come back here more often.
